Dr. Newheart's Christmas Cure
First released in 1991, Dr. Newheart’s Christmas Cure is a Broadway-styled musical with a timeless message. When the kids come to the clinic suffering from the overkill of Christmas, Dr. Newheart diagnoses their malady as the “Christmas Day Dumps.” Through the help of the clinic staff, Drs. Fric and Frac, the “Dis”orderlies and Pink Ladies, Mildred, Maude and Ethel, the kids realize they have a heart problem that only be cured by accepting Christ. In the end, even cranky Nurse Philpott receives a new heart for Christmas and all the mayhem and humor is capped with a touching musical invitation for Christ to “Come in My Heart.”
MY FAVORITE MUSICAL OF ALL TIMES. The message is strong, the interns, (dis)orderlies and Pink Ladies were a big hits and the music is so well written. THIS MUSICAL IS A MUST!
